DeBoth steps down as Niagara Police P-M Paul DeBoth has decided to step down as Pipe-Major of the Grade 2 Niagara Regional Police Pipe Band after 15 months in the post. Long-time band-member Davey Goodall is the new pipe-major. “I have decided to resign as pipe-major of the band after lengthy consideration as to what was best for both the band and myself,” DeBoth says. “The band is in excellent shape and will be looked after by Davey Goodall. I consider myself fortunate to claim the Niagara Band as family, and especially fortunate to have played with a lead-tip of Graham Kirkwood’s calibre.”
