Steven McWhirter from SFU has taken out the world Solo drumming Championships held in Monkstown Norther Ireland,

Jim Kilpatrick, 16-time-winner of the House of Edgar-Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band took 2nd place with Eric Ward third.

NZ’s own Jeremy McLaughlin got 8th in his heat, the first time he has competed at this competiton,
