ON Saturday, April 28 up at the revitalized Irish American Community Center (at least in the traditional music vein) outside of New Haven, Connecti-cut, there is a fascinating threesome scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m.

Uilleann piper Jerry O’Sullivan, concertinist Tim Collins and fiddler Willie Kelly are banding together to present a night of traditional music from the Clare and Sliabh Luachra areas which reflects the musical genres from which they draw their strength.

Uniting the three of them beyond the fact that they are three exceptionally gifted and talented musicians is their commitment to passing on what they have learned from their predecessors through vigorous teaching efforts, and each is considered among the best in that capacity as well.
