Antique bagpipes stolen from car in east Regina

More than one hundred years old, an irreplaceable set of bagpipes that is a part of the Fraser Pipe Bands history, has gone missing.”Theyre basically antiques. Theyre not replaceable,” said Sheryll Inkson, president of the Fraser Pipe Band, which has been together for more than 40 years.Early Thursday morning, the antique set of bagpipes was stolen from inside of a truck in the Windsor Park neighbourhood in east Regina.”The pipes were bought in Scotland and donated to the band to start up the band,” said Inkson, explaining each member of the competitive pipe band has a set they use for competition.
