John Couch Adams FRS, British Mathematician and Astronomer, Born

John Couch Adams (born June 5, 1819, Laneast, Cornwall, Eng.—died Jan. 21, 1892, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire) was a British mathematician and astronomer, one of two people who independently discovered the planet Neptune.
