Lyon College Offers Free Bagpipe Lessons to Keep Scottish Heritage Alive

Lyon College is striking a chord with its Scottish roots by offering free bagpipe lessons as part of its Scottish Heritage Program.

The college, founded in 1872 by the Presbyterian Church, has been celebrating its Scottish connections since the early 1980s with a festival that has grown over the years.

Jimmy Bell, Director of Scottish Heritage and Pipe Major, explained the importance of the program.
