Seán Lynch on Bringing the Dooagh Folk Festival to Achill Island

After a sold-out inaugural outing in 2024, the Dooagh Folk Festival will be returning to Achill Island from 12 to 14 September 2025.

The traditional folk music festival will feature a vibrant and eclectic mix of artists, with Stockton’s Wing confirmed as this year’s headline act.
